Tuesday intervals

I started my day off with a 2-mile run with Huck, then did Day 2 of the Push-Up Circuit Challenge. I’ve been neglecting my upper body for awhile now, so I feel like this challenge will help me get back in shape. I like that it builds up slowly, so I can focus on my form.

This evening, I did a quick interval workout at the gym:

Row 500 meters
Run 1 mile @7:34
Row 500 meters
Run 1 mile @7:13
Row 500 meters

I kept my headphones on between sets, so this workout went by super fast – less than 30 minutes! I’m definitely feeling stronger on the rowing machine and the 1-mile “sprints” felt much easier than usual. Progress!

Now, I’m off to get ready for a surprise date with my fiancé 🙂
